Testing times

Says here, India is asking the West Indies board to reduce its upcoming tour commitments to three Tests instead of four. For me, the more interesting bit is the scheduled India A tour of Australia -- if the national selectors know their onions, great chance to pick a team of the best young talent around, and throw them in the deep end against quality opposition; the best possible way to blood new talent and prepare them for the transition to the senior ranks. And recent events indicate we can use all the new blood we can find, in all departments of the game.
